Here is the third photo I wanted to share from the photo shoot that went down at the Art Institute in Portland. I think this is a pretty wicked shot that turned out lovely. Enjoy!

Studio Photos

Here is a photo that goes with the photo that I uploaded last week. I really like the close up and thought it needed to be shared. I love the smile and the way the light is hitting her face. hope you all like it as much as I do.

First Studio Photo Shoot

I thought I would share a few of my photos from my very first studio photo shoot. I really enjoyed having all the flashes set up and not having a lot of onlookers. The flashes that I had set up weren't the best but they did the job. They took forever to charge up to full power in-between shots. I got a little carried away and would just snap off photos. So the lighting on all the shots are not consistent, but that's OK. What was lame is some of the really good shots I got were too dark. So for the next couple weeks I will upload some of those photos.

Sellin my whip

So I am selling my sweat whip on Craig's List. I am moving soon and don't really have room for it at my new place. Maybe some of you will like it or know someone that will. Here's a link to the Craig's List post and also one of the photos of me on it.

Group Geisha Photo

Here is another one of the shots from the Geisha shoot. I like this one a lot. It's all three of the girls together. For all these shots I was able to get my hands on a fisheye lens to shoot with. I now really want to get one of those lenses. Super fun to shoot with.

Tron Legacy!

So I am really excited about Tron Legacy! With that being said there was a poster released that is glow in the dark and they showed what it looks like with the lights on and off. I thought it would look cool animated so I went ahead and did that. I didn't make the poster but I did animate it. It is of Daft Punk who are in the movie and this is what they look like in the movie. Check it out and get excited for the movie.

Geisha Photo Shoot

The last post I did was also from the Geisha photo shoot. I have a few more I want to show and here is one of those photos. I will share more from the shoot later. Hope you like them and I had a lot of fun shooting these. I don't have much model photog experience but I really enjoyed doing it.

Photo Shoots

So I have been doing a lot of photo shoots in the last couple months and this is my favorite from the most recent one I did. It is of a local Portland emerging hip hop artist named Komazing. It was getting dark out and we wanted to shoot a few more shots. So we found this area that we could use the surrounding light since I didn't have any lighting equipment with me. Take a look and I will put more photos up soon.

Studio Photo Shoot?

So I was doing a photo shoot the other day for a friend at the Art Institute of Portland in there studio. I had some down time while I was waiting for the next models to come in and I took a couple self portrait shots. So what do I do with them? Animate them thats what!

Flyer for a birthday party

I designed and made a flyer for my roommates daughters 1st birthday party. Pretty stoked on it. Wiped it up pretty quick. I am sure you can tell were I got the idea from.

Kitten 3D

I had a buddy that was hanging out with me one afternoon while I was editing some photos and I decided to snap a few photos of said buddy. I was able to make one 3D and then I did a simple two photo animation with two other photos. I like the 3D a lot and I think that is the fourth 3D photo I have down now.

Edited Portrait of Myself

So I wasn't going to make a post today but I was editing a portrait of myself and I was pretty stoked on the outcome so I wanted to share. I want to make sure and state that I did not take these photos. They are just photos of myself that I edited in Photoshop. I really liked the photo of myself with the glasses on but I wanted it to be a vertical photo that showed my shoulders. What I did was take two different photos that I liked and blended them together in photoshop to get the desired outcome. Also I took the flash and camera guy's reflection out of the sunglasses. Hope you like the final photo as much as I do.

Late Night Bike Ride

I love riding my bike late at night. When I do ride late at night I usually take my camera gear with me and shoot photos. I was exploring one night and ended up in an industrial part of Portland and these are a few of the shots I like from that night. I think I will retake these photos cause they didn't turn out the best but you can still see my intent.

Wheat Pasted Money?

So word on the street is that this guy found a $6 check on the ground and went home with it. Then came back to where he found it and wheat pasted it to the dumbster that was next to it. I have no idea who he is but that is just the word on the street. I just so happened to get some photos of it. Funny as hell to me but sort of messed up. I blurred out the name and address on the check as well. What do you think of the photos of the incident?

Logos and Mafia?

Hey check out this recent re-make of a logo I made a long time ago. Pretty sweet eh! Also I recently took our Potlach logo and brought it to life. I will include the original logo so you can compare. Also pretty sweet. Enjoy!

The Giant Moth

So my best friend from Bellingham made his first stop on his 2 month long road trip in Portland to kick it with me. One of the days we both took our cameras with us but didn't take one photo until we saw this massive moth. We both took some shots of it and these are my favorite ones I took. A full day carrying a camera around and we only took shots of one thing? Should have used the cameras more. Please enjoy!

3D image #3 Contraband Spray Paint Can

So I had made a third 3D image but never uploaded it to the blog. So here it is. I think this is my new favorite 3D image I have made. It is a photo of a spray paint can I did for my Contraband Series.

Manifest Africa Project Event June 27th 2010

So its been a while since I have made a post. I was really busy with an art show we put on and then our internet went down but I am back up online. So this is an event that I attended to Photograph. It was put on by 2 wonderful young ladies and when I get a link to there project I will update this posting with the link. So here are a few of the shots from the event that I liked and wanted to share. Hope you enjoy and I want to start doing more posts soon. I added a photo of me taken from a cell phone that night....
